We know that men can struggle to get help when things aren’t going well, and will often try to ‘power through’ on our own for as long as possible. This is especially the case when men face problems with their health or wellbeing.
Many of us will only seek professional support for these things once a problem has escalated into a full-blown crisis. There are a variety of reasons for this, including social pressure and fear of stigma, or previous bad experiences with health services.
Nevertheless, this Men’s Health Week we’re asking men to think about ways that they can make small changes in their lives sooner, for a big positive impact over the long-term.
Earlier this week, we presented a 30 minute webinar to the Men’s Activity Network about how italk can help men to make these changes. A recording of this is now available to view below.
